As
other major biomedical companies, Plastech is located
within the hub of the European Biomedical Industry:
the Mirandola Area, in the North of
Italy, just 40 minutes driving from Bologna airport.
In 1990, a group of qualified and long-experienced
technicians from local companies working in the
biomedical sector decided to establish Plastech.
In 1997 the company gets the German TUV certification,
while in May 2002 even the CE mark is obtained too.
So, a wide range of plastic components
for dialysis, infusion and transfusion is manufactured
and marketed by Plastech ( including O.E.M.) as
well as some finished products, such as filters
for reanimation and anaesthesia, suction set for
surgery room, special infusion systems and extension
lines.
Thanks to the help of qualified personnel,
modern machinery and advanced equipment are used
for the production (both moulding and blowing process)
of the above mentioned components, in a 100.000
class cleanroom. As a part of the company strategies,
Plastech is even able to provide products which
are complementary and essential for the production
of finished lines. To this purpose, the company
is equipped with a modern and efficient Medical
Extrusion Department (always in cleanroom class
100.000), designed to provide quite any kinds of
tube. Our qualified personnel is also available
for suggesting and/or studying new products upon
specific customers request. Still upon customers
request, Plastech can provide finished lines and
sets (either sterile or not) by resorting to licensed
production workshops. Besides, the company technical
office is always ready to assist you in drawing
up the ideal set configuration.

In
order to maintain a high quality standard, as well
as the product confidentiality and exclusiveness,
Plastech has on its premises a modern and well-equipped
mechanical workshop. It is thus possible to design,
develop and build mechanical parts or other related
objects for the production of plastic Medical items.
This undoubtedly enables Plastech to meet quite
all customers needs in a shorter time than
the ordinary customer-supplier delivery terms. The
technical office compiles, updates and manages all
the procedures and drawings necessary to maintain
the company within the quality system abiding by
ISO 9002 regulations. Each time is placed an order
for a new component, the company immediately receives
all the necessary documents for the homologation
of the product itself, as set forth by the above
mentioned regulations.
Quality has become the key element for keeping the
pace with the most qualified markets. As a result,
Plastech quality policy fulfils the requirements
stated by the international controlling and field
authorities. All tests and checks comply with the
requirements of the specific regulations pertaining
to plastic Medical components.
Finally, a modern Assembling Department
enables Plastech to sell even already assembled
components (finished Medical Devices ready for use),
offering in this way to the customer adequate assurances
of quality and cleanness as well as the advantage
of saving time and reducing costs. Customers interested
in developing new products with us will be granted
the highest reliability and exclusiveness.
Plastech is proud to include among
its customers some of the leading International
Biomedical Companies. This spurs us on to pursue
our goals of technological and quality innovation,
aiming to creating products that feature the best
possible quality/price ratio.
